Lumière Jazz Nights host and musician Peter Willems also takes the stage, alongside the 'bad boy of Dutch Jazz' Teis Semey.
t's become an annual tradition now. Peter Willems, co-initiator/host of Lumière Jazz Nights, and singer/contrabassist, invites artists who inspire him for an exhilarating musical rendezvous on stage.
This year, he's invited none other than Teis Semey, often referred to as 'the bad boy of British jazz.' Jazzism describes his playing as something that "grabs you by the shoulders and shouts a story full of depth and nuance right in your face." The NRC adds the following: "Teis Semey combines the aggression of punk with the sensitivity of choral music."
