Subtle Spanish drama set in the Canary Islands about a family caught in a web of mistrust, jealousy, fear, trauma, and family secrets.
40-year-old Fabiola is traumatized by a scuba diving accident in which her husband died. To escape her panic attacks, she decides to spend some time in a house her family owns on a small volcanic island off the Spanish coast. It is the house where she spent the first seven years of her life, before her parents suddenly departed. Her father César and her 14-year-old daughter Gabi accompany her.
On the island, Fabiola senses something wrong in the relationship between her father and Gabi. Over the course of a few days, Fabiola slowly descends into a spiral of mistrust and confusion.
