Exploring Cinema - A World Tour
Melancholy tragicomedy by Aki Kaurismäki (Le Havre) about two lonely souls who meet during a booze-fuelled night in Helsinki. Winner of the Jury Prize at Cannes. On Tuesday, January 9 at 19:00hrs, FALLEN LEAVES will begin with a 10-minute introduction and end with a 30-minute guided discussion, facilitated by experts, film students, teachers, professionals.

This collaboration between Lumiere and United World College Maastricht presents a tour of some seminal films that have shaped world cinema in the last century from dark German alleyways, to intense psychological journeys, film noir to the poetic brilliance of subtlety.
